Types of Yoga Class
Gentle flow class begins and ends with meditation. Class is structured around postures that easily flow together to create a practice that feels graceful. We combine breathe with movement and gentle holding of postures. I offer multiple levels of challenge to find the expression of the posture that best suites your body.
This class is designed for those who cannot get up and down from the floor. We combine seated and standing postures that use a chair for ease and stability. I offer multiple levels of challenge to suite each individual's unique ability.
This class incorporates meditation, postures, and breathe work designed to bring balance to your spiritual body and open channels for energy to flow. Students may benefit from a strap and/or a small pillow.
This is a specialty class that incorporates a gentle flow with elevation. The class begins by getting into the zone with a toke from your own medical or delta herbal vape. We go through a series of postures designed to bring you to a place of spiritual bliss. Use responsibility.
I no longer follow the YTT model set by the National Yoga Alliance as they are not anything more than a professional organization. A certificate issued by me is all any yoga teacher should need to supply anyone who requires it. The model that i use to certify new teachers is based on real study and apprenticeship. You will learn skills that actually prepare you to teach.
This curriculum is in addition to yoga class attendance. This is a study and apprenticeship designed to facilitate your journey toward becoming a teacher. You will study yoga philosophy, history, science, anatomy and learn effective teaching methodology. There is no "200 hour" certificate of completion. Instead there is competency to lead a class required to graduate.
